Whispers of the Himalayas – A Sacred Retreat in the Heart of Nepal

March 22–29, 2026

Nepal has a way of softening you the moment you arrive. The air is thinner, the mountains stand ancient and patient and every prayer flag seems to whisper slow down, breathe, come home to yourself.
Whispers of the Himalayas is an 8-day journey designed to help you reconnect with presence through yoga, meditation, sacred Buddhist spaces, sunrise viewpoints and the healing energy of the mountains.

This retreat blends spiritual depth with gentle adventure: monasteries, stupas, sound healing, sunrise meditations, lakeside peace and quiet moments of transformation.

Afternoons unfold at a slower rhythm: a mix of sacred excursions, personal reflection and restorative rest. You’ll wander through ancient stupas, sit in peaceful monastery gardens, listen to chanting winds and share stories over nourishing meals. There is ample space to journal, integrate, connect, or simply exist in your own quiet sanctuary.

Your journey begins as you arrive in Kathmandu, where our team will welcome you and guide you to the retreat venue. Settle into your room, sip herbal tea and rest after your travels.
In the late afternoon, we gather for our first circle, a gentle space to arrive, meet one another and set intentions for the days ahead. As evening settles in, we share a grounding meditation followed by a nourishing dinner, giving you time to ease into the energy of Nepal.

welcome dinner , the beginning of our sacred journey together.

We begin the morning with yoga and meditation, allowing your breath to soften and your body to awaken. After breakfast, we visit Kopan Monastery, a serene hilltop sanctuary known for its Buddhist teachings and peaceful gardens.
Later, we make our way to Boudhanath Stupa, one of Nepal’s most sacred Buddhist sites. Spend time walking the kora, soaking in the chanting and incense, or quietly enjoying tea as prayer flags flutter above. The evening is restful, spacious and unhurried.

Before dawn, we drive to Nagarkot to witness a Himalayan sunrise – a breathtaking panorama where the Langtang and Everest ranges glow softly in morning light.
We return for breakfast and then continue to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a living museum of temples, courtyards and centuries old craftsmanship. Wander slowly, soak in the textures of history and let the day unfold at a gentle pace.
The evening brings a light yoga session and quiet rest back in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, we take a short and scenic flight to Pokhara. Upon arrival, settle into your lakeside stay, a serene space framed by mountains and the calm waters of Phewa Lake.
The afternoon is yours: take a peaceful walk, sit by the lake, or spend time journaling. As the sun dips, we gather for a grounding yoga and meditation practice, followed by dinner with the group.

We rise early to visit Sarangkot, where the Annapurna range awakens in shades of gold and rose. This sunrise meditation becomes a quiet dialogue with the mountains a moment of pure stillness and awe.
Later in the afternoon, immerse yourself in a deep sound healing session with a local shaman, a vibrational journey that supports emotional release and deep rest.
The rest of the day is slow and spacious, ending with a gentle dinner.

The morning begins with pranayama and mindful yoga. After breakfast, we visit the World Peace Pagoda, perched above the lake with stunning views of the Annapurna range. Spend time in meditation, reflection, or a quiet nature walk.
The afternoon is open for exploration or rest — visit nearby cafés, stroll through Lakeside, or simply enjoy solitude.
We end the day with a candlelight meditation back at the hotel.

This day is dedicated to integration and inner reflection. After a morning yoga and meditation session, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and a free day to wander, rest, shop, or sit by the lakeside.
In the evening, we come together one last time for our Closing Ceremony — a heartfelt circle of gratitude, sharing and honouring all that the Himalayas have opened within us. The night finishes with a warm farewell dinner.

We close the retreat with breakfast and gentle goodbyes. You’ll be dropped at Pokhara Airport for your onward journey.
If you’re returning to Kathmandu, you can choose a flight, cab, or tourist bus depending on your travel plans.

Why Nepal?

There’s a certain magic that lives in Nepal – an energy that can’t quite be described, only felt. Nestled in the embrace of the mighty Himalayas, this land has long been a sanctuary for seekers, sages and travellers drawn by something deeper than scenery.

In Nepal, the silence speaks, the mountains teach and the air carries a sacred stillness that gently pulls you inward. It is a place where ancient wisdom lives alongside raw natural beauty – where simplicity becomes luxury and presence becomes prayer.

For those on the yogic path, Nepal is not just a destination—it’s a mirror. It reflects the vastness within you, reminding you of your own strength, stillness, and soulfulness. Whether trekking through forest trails, meditating under prayer flags, or moving through asanas surrounded by peaks, the experience here is grounding, expansive and unforgettable.

To practice yoga in Nepal is to connect more deeply with yourself – held by nature, uplifted by spirit.
