Absolutely. Wifi is free available for use and phones are allowed apart from classrooms.For emergency purpose (when you are in class) you can give the schools number to your kin
What are the food options available ?
While our school offers basic vegetarian food, vegan food preference can be considered. A student should inform his or her food preferences at the time of enrolment.
Is it safe to consume drinking water from the school ?
Absolutely. Filtered water is available 24/7. Which is safe RO water.

What is the Adi Yoga Shala 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training program?
AYS’ 200-hour YTT program is a 3-week intensive training course that certifies individuals to become yoga instructors. It covers the fundamental principles and practices of yoga.
What will I learn in a 200-hour YTT program?
You’ll learn yoga philosophy, asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, teaching methodology, anatomy, and more.
What’s the difference between a 200-hour and a 300-hour YTT?
A 200-hour program is foundational, while a 300-hour program is more advanced. The latter builds upon the basics and delves deeper into yoga philosophy and teaching.
Is there a specific age limit for joining a 200-hour YTT program?
There’s usually no age limit, but some programs may require participants to be at least 18 years old.
Do I need to be an experienced yogi to join a 200-hour YTT?
No, most 200-hour YTT programs are open to students of all levels. While some experience is helpful, it’s not a strict requirement.
How long does a 200-hour YTT program usually take to complete?
3 weeks / 21 days for the basic level 1 200 hours yoga teacher training
What is the number of intake per yoga ttc batch?
The maximum number of intakes per batch is 12 students.
It his highly recommended to bring your own yoga mat. One can also purchase it from the school or the shops around in town.
What is the type of accommodation available?
A student can opt either for a private room or for a shared room. Shared rooms have two occupants with a common bathroom in each room.
Do we have to follow a particular dress code?
You will be given the schools’ yoga tshirt. It is recommended to wear comfortable and modest clothing during your stay at the school
Do we have to carry our own yoga mat?
It is highly recommended to bring your own yoga mat. One can also purchase it from the school or the shops around town.
Is transportation from and to the Airport available ?
Yes. We have a free group pick from Dehradun airport and a private pick up from Delhi airport that comes for a minimum cost. For drop to any of these airports a minimum fare free is applicable. Pick up /drop has to be communicated way in advance to ensure smooth execution of your arrival/departure
What certification will I receive after attending the 200 hours yttc?
You will receive Adi Yoga Shala 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Certificate – accredited by Yoga Alliance.
Is a 200-hour YTT certification internationally recognized?
Our YTT program is accredited by Yoga Alliance, making the certification widely accepted worldwide.
Can I teach yoga after completing a 200-hour YTT?
Yes, you’ll be qualified to teach, but some instructors choose to continue their education with more advanced YTT programs.
What if I don’t wish to become a yoga teacher? Would this course help?
Yes, sure will. These courses help you to move into a guided direction making your foundation strong
What are the career opportunities after completing a 200-hour YTT?
Graduates can teach in studios, gyms, wellness centres, or offer private sessions. Some may also specialise in areas like therapeutic yoga or meditation.
What are the certification requirements?
To receive your certification, you’ll usually need to attend all required classes, demonstrate proficiency in asanas and teaching, and pass any assessments or exams.

Is the deposit refundable?
The advance deposit made to reserve your spot is non-refundable
Can fees be paid in instalments ?
Yes, very much. Your deposit amount will be considered as the first instalment.
Your second instalment will be due 2 weeks prior to the course start
And your final instalment will be due upon arrival at the school.
Can we cancel or change the course dates after advance booking is done?
Cancellation is allowed but advance payment is non-refundable. If you choose to not cancel and change your course dates to a future date, you can shift your enrollment for a batch coming anytime in the same calendar year.
What is the mode of payment?
You can pay the deposit amount through Transfer wise / Paypal/
Gpay/phonepe (for indians)
The balance amount can be paid through credit card / bank transfer / paypal / Wise
*Transfer fee is borne by the student. One can also pay Cash upon arrival to the school

Transportation
Is it safe to travel alone to and in Rishikesh?
Travelling to Rishikesh alone is perfectly safe. It is advisable to use the prepaid cab service provided by the school. Alternatively, you can opt for a flight to Dehradun, the nearest airport, or book a bus/train ticket online. Once you arrive in Rishikesh by bus or train, you will still need transportation to reach the school from the bus stop or train station.
Which airport is best to fly to ?
The best airport to fly to when travelling to Rishikesh is the Dehradun Airport (Jolly Grant Airport). It is the closest airport to Rishikesh, located approximately 35 kilometres away. From Dehradun Airport, you can easily get a taxi or arrange for a pre-booked cab to reach Rishikesh comfortably.
